Papaya soups are always loved for their characteristic sweet and cool taste. Today, let’s refresh the family’s menu with a refreshing vegetarian papaya soup with tofu.

Ingredients

  • Papaya : 200gr
  • White tofu : 1 piece
  • Green onion : 1 branch
  • Coriander : 1 branch
  • Vegetarian seasoning : 1 teaspoon
  • (salt/ ground pepper)

Prepare the ingredients

Peel the papaya, wash it and cut it into thin slices about 1/2 finger long as shown in the picture.

Rinse the white tofu with water and cut it into square pieces. Wash the green onions and cilantro and chop them.

Cook vegetarian papaya soup

Put the pot on the stove and boil about 500ml of water over medium heat with 1/2 teaspoon of salt, add the prepared papaya and cook for about 5 minutes, then season with 1 teaspoon of vegetarian seasoning.

Stir well to dissolve the spices, then season to taste, add all the tofu and cook for another 3 minutes until cooked, then turn off the heat, add chopped onion and coriander and 1/2 teaspoon of ground pepper.

Vegetarian papaya soup with tofu has a cool, sweet taste, the broth is clear but still rich and delicious. You should eat it while it is still hot to fully enjoy the cool taste of the soup.
