Broccoli and Mushroom Stir Fry

Ingredients:

  • 1 head of broccoli, cut into florets
  • 1 lb mixed mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon oyster sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the vegetables: Cut the broccoli into florets and slice the mushrooms. Thinly slice the onion and mince the garlic.
  2. Heat the oil: Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
  3. Sauté the vegetables: Add the onion and cook until softened, about 2 minutes. Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds more.
  4. Add the broccoli and mushrooms: Stir in the broccoli and mushrooms. Cook until the vegetables are tender-crisp, about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Add the sauce: Toss in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Cook for 30 seconds more to combine the flavors.
  6. Serve: Serve immediately over rice or noodles.

Optional: Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a little heat.
